This May 5 the party started early for the panelist of Business After Covid19 Playbook 2020. For 1 hour and 13 minutes, the 4 speakers analyzed the current situation brought upon by the pandemic. They also shared their advice about how to make and maintain businesses once the quarantine is over and the economy reactivated.


Almost 200 persons were on the online conference live. Now they have the rules clear and are ready for the challenging game of business.


“The objective of The Bridge Accelerator is to increment the participation and capabilities of innovation that local suppliers have, mainly small and medium businesses. To participate and enter into the supply chain of the manufacturing industry, as well as the maquiladora”, explained Carlos Martínez Vela, moderator of the conference.

For this reason, it was decided to organize this online conference, to support the businesses and people in the industry, maquiladora, etc. Thanks to this session, their perspective had a positive change and now the way’s been established, and the rules defined.


We had the participation of 8 countries among the virtual audience: Mexico, United States, Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.


4 important panelists participated, 3 from Mexico and 1 from Costa Rica. Mexico started, with the participation of Sergio Alanís, CEO of Nuda Est and board member of Enture Capital.

Before the game was about looking for that accelerated growth at all cost. Today we’re changing the name of the game, and today the priority for the new projects and companies must be cost effective”, stated Sergio Alanís.


Now was the turn of Costa Rica with the participation of Armando Mogel, former director of Supply Chain Management for Procter & Gamble. He presented his 7 key questions.

“Without doubt, the times we’re living require a transformation, a reconfiguration of our business, relearn what’s necessary. Nonetheless, we must not fall back to look for answers without having made the right questions first”, said Armando Mogel.


During his turn, Horman Millán, director of The Bridge Accelerator, presented 3 steps recommended to adapt your business model.

“Now the business model and each one of its key elements are a big question mark in regards of how they behave. Some get stronger really fast and others are collapsing. How do we play with all of this?” Reflected Horman Millán.

 

Since Omar Monroy, CEO of Mink Global, have a lawyer background, he shared some perspectives on reconfiguration for businesses during his participation.

“We’re in a storm and the scenarios that are coming once it’s over are looking grim. Some recessions are seen from the distance, that’ll potentially bring a decrease in income, for businesses and people”, stated Omar Monroy.
