Amidst this COVID19 crisis it's possible that planned events are cancelled, postponed, or modified. However, not all of them can halt completely because the world has needs that can only be met by continuing production and business deals. There's always ways to improve the way we do things and in this case we need to adapt our behavior to the new normal. Here we will give you a few tips that have worked for us to successfully conquer your next event like a pro and overall keep you and your collaborators safe and healthy. 


Tip #1 

The number one rule in all your events should be social distancing; avoid people having to make a line or gathering in once place. If you need to have a one-on-one meeting with a lot of people, like for example during a hiring process, avoid walk-ins and schedule them at different times so they don’t have to wait. 


Tip #2 

Prepare everything separately when offering water, coffee or snacks. Multiple people touching the same items repeatedly increases the overall risk of contagion. The same goes for example, a pen used to sign a contract; have everyone bring their pen so they don’t have to share the same items. If it’s inevitable; disinfect the item in question after each and every use. 


Tip #3

Multiply the number of guests by 3 to calculate the needed space for your event. For example, if you know there will be 3 people in the meeting room at all times [3x3=9], then make sure to rent one for 10 people. If you have an event for 20 people, [20x3=60] make sure to get a space for 60 or more. Follow this rule for tables; If you have a table that fits 10 people, only sit 3 etc. 


Tip #4

Make protective equipment obligatory during your event. Masks and gloves are a good start. Have reminders everywhere of proper protocol and safety measures. Providing your guests with disinfectant gel and other products is an excellent way to make sure everyone is taking the necessary precautions.
