On January 15, 2018, the official presentation of the “Red Juárez Emprende” took place at the “Fundación del Empresario Chihuahuense A.C. (FECHAC)” facilities in Ciudad Juárez. This network aims to support Juarez business people and entrepreneurs and thus boost the economy of the city, especially in the field of the manufacturing industry.
The president of the Network, Rodolfo Vázquez Triana, who is also Technology HUB’s COO, mentioned that the “Juárez Emprende” Network is a clear example of the collaboration of the tetra helix (industry, government, society and education) that seeks to take advantage of Juárez talent and promote it to encourage innovation and motivate change through high-impact projects. He indicated that there are already several commissions within the organization aimed at promoting entrepreneurship in different areas.
The network began operations a little over a year ago and those seeking support can directly approach any of the 19 organizations that constitute it:
