“Business Transformation In The Digital Age And Cyber Security Challenges” by Ernesto Salgado.
Ernesto Salgado was the honor speaker of The Bridge Accelerator; this was an open conference, where he spoke about the importance of the current commerce and the need to transform into the digital era.
The generations are changing, nowadays the e-commerce has become more important than the physical stores, why is that? A study shows that the millennial are always looking for the immediate gratification, there is nothing more instant than a click.
This generation is currently the greater client, the companies have a lot of changes to make and get into the digital transformation, we have to keep in mind that this change has a lot to do with the cyber security.

HUBtalk: “Stress! What is it and how to live without it?” by the masters Devadatta and Suparna.
Nowadays, the stress is part of our daily lives, but no matter how common has become, we still have no clue how to handle it, that is why the masters maestros Devadatta y Suparna taught us several advices of how to handle the stress through short meditations and breathing.
There´s no doubt that we will be needing those advices in the future!

HUBtalk 4.0: “From TLCAN to TMEC” by Mario Iván Olivas
In the last few years this commerce treaty has been renegotiated and the only thing that has accomplished is to confuse everyone. In this brand new version of HUBtalks, where our main focus is the industry. The invited speaker was Mario Iván Olivas, who explained the differences between these two treaties, the changes made and how we can make the best out of this treaty.
At the end of the conference we had coffee sponsored by Lungo Coffee, nothing more exhilarating than coffee to create new connections!
HUBarte: “Inside/Outside” by Marina Morris
Marina Morris is the author of the photographic exposition that is currently in our Tera Building. This collection is mainly focused on the rooftops of historic places, showing a brand new perspective.
This expo will be with us for a few months. What are you waiting to see this original collection?

TBXL: Demo Day
Our acceleration program: The Bridge Accelerator has come to an end. To end with the right foot we made a demo day, where the participant of the program presented a pitch in front of a jury alongside the directors of the TechSpark initiative by Microsoft and the regional manufacturing industry executives.
Followed by one on one meetings with the interested clients, this activity was extremely successful, these were the results:
- 52 closed Purchase Orders with a total value of $1,483,598.00 USD
- 35 pending bids/proposals
- 33 new jobs
- 51 Follow up interviews
- 6 Investment proposals, 2 of them were committed with a total value of $ 250,000 USD
Global Containers was the winner of the night taking home $25,000 USD in seed money.
The success of this pilot was beyond our expectations, stay tuned for our next season of acceleration.

What is the thing that the clients come back to you? The answer is quite easy: costumer service. This detail makes a great difference to the image that you give to your clients and also this will make the come back to you… or don’t.
Abril Reyes shared her experience with her company, going deeper with the details that has made he learn more about the important experiences that help her business to grow.
