Do you think that the Home Office reform only benefits collaborators? Not all of us add the same sauce to tacos and some of us like the taco crunchy and others soft.

Surely you have already heard about the new reform known as Home Office. If you are still not sure what it is about, you can read some of the most important points here.

Without a doubt, there are collaborators that you will have to drag out of their houses because of how much they like this modality. However, some people do not have a good time working from home and it can be due to many reasons:

  1. Not having the space to work comfortably.
  2. Feeling like they must overwork to compensate working from home.
  3. Internet is constantly crashing.
  4. They were blessed with scandalous family.
  5. Needing to see collaborators face-to-face when talking to them.
  6. Feeling less productive from home.
  7. Having problems with new applications and technologies.
  8. The neighbor has Taylor Swift on repeat and soon they'll know the lyrics by heart.

Whatever your problem is, we feel you. We invite you to read some solutions that you can apply to make your workspace at home something bearable or outright change to a better office.

Some Solutions to These Problems

If you feel guilty or ashamed to close your computer after your working hours have ended, we recommend taking Nike's advice: just do it. They may still be pending tasks, but when you went to the office any other day, did you stay until you finished all week's work? Don't worry, your tasks will not go anywhere, they will be accompanying you the next morning along with your coffee.

Surely a YouTube guru already told you that you should be Zen and have a space of peace to align yourself and balance your work and private life. Unfortunately, this does not solve all the problems you may have, such as your family shouting in the background during your meeting, the noise from your neighbors or the traffic on your street. But, at least you can put on headphones so you don't hear the music of the neighbors.

When the internet is out in your home, stay calm. Wait for it to return and write an extensive review on your provider's page explaining how upset you are and how it has affected your work and private life. This doesn't change anything, but, well, at least you get rid of the anger.

If you don't know why your camera or microphone isn't working in Zoom, before yelling at your trusted millenial, you can do a search on Google or YouTube. It is easier than you think.

Extra Solutions

It would be amazing if we could all have an ideal workspace in our home, however, not all of us have that possibility. So, if you have to go back to an office or you have decided to get a workspace, at least choose one in a place where you enjoy working more than you do in your own home, wouldn’t you agree?

Technology HUB has workspaces for all kinds of collaborators, even for those looking for a space for two or three days a week or for those emergencies such as the internet being out at home. Whoever likes privacy, but needs people around to get motivated, can get a booth or an office cube. Do you love meeting people and being around people? You can always get an office for your team or, if you're alone, get a desk or a cowork membership.
