To understand why José Ochoa decided to undertake a SME, first we must check a little into his story. He graduated from a public school in the capital city of Chihuahua. After that, he moved to Ciudad Juarez to get a job.

He started working at Delphi, where he learned all related to engineering and packing. His work consisted in developing packages to transport that were more creative and cost efficient.

His passion for innovation led him to work afterwards in Siemens, where he surprised and pleased Mercedes, since the cost of packing, freight and storing lowered.

It was this way that on 2008 José Ochoa decided to undertake Global Containers and Custom Packaging with his business partner. Nonetheless, how do you take the SME to the next level?

An Opportunity

José Ochoa entered the program The Bridge Accelerator and thought that that was just the fuel he needed to boost his business.

The CEO of Global Containers and Custom Packaging wanted to keep up on the scoreboard after losing an opportunity with a client, so that The Bridge Accelerator helped him reevaluate the business model of his enterprise and make it better.

It was clear for José Ochoa that this program was exactly what he needed. Brad Smith, president of Microsoft sign his lucky sneakers during the final phase of The Bridge Accelerator, Demo Day, and it seems that it brought him a bunch of luck.
