1. Geographic location

The geographic position of this mega-region where three states collide: Texas, New Mexico, and Chihuahua, gives a unique advantage to those companies that require exports, acquisitions, and industrial transportation.

Setting up shop on the US border in a community like JRZ-EP gives you access to the best of both worlds; avant-garde technologies and concepts or tools from the US, the country with the 1st world economy; and the highly specialized and low-cost labor force of Mexico.

2. Growing economy

According to Banamex economic study, Juárez is one of the entities that contributes most to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Mexico with an average of 4.5% and also generates 42.5% of the entire Chihuahua state GDP. El Paso has also been growing exponentially since 2002. The proximity of both countries that merge and collide in a single community facilitates alliances, communication, and negotiations with the United States and Mexico. It gives any kind of business the opportunity to expand its operations and grow.

3. Market opportunities

Although this mega-region holds the fourth place as manufacturing HUB in North America, only an average of 2.1% of the inputs required for its industries come from the region, which means that there is great opportunity to participate in a supplier industry that generates about 39 billion dollars a year. There are many industry specializations established in the region, many which have been projected to grow exponentially in the next few years such as: food, electronics, medical devices, mining etc.

The growing population and bi-national community make this region fertile land for business development.

5. Infrastructure

The JRZ-EP region has a highly developed industrial infrastructure with more than 40 industrial parks and about 350 global manufacturing companies. Juárez and El Paso both have international airports near the border that keep their residents closely connected to the rest of the planet. In addition to airports, two of the most important interstate highways in the United States, I10 and I25, pass through El Paso. Ciudad Juárez also has two highways connecting them to the rest of México. JRZ-EP also has international railway tracks to which Union Pacific recently invested 420 million dollars for its modernization.

6. Attractive to US and MX companies

Companies from the United States find this region attractive because it allows them to have their offices in the US and still be close to their manufacturing operations in Juárez or in México. This facilitates their management and administration without raising costs of labor. Mexican entrepreneurs are also attracted to the region because it allows them to remain in Mexico while they are close enough to their operations in the United States. It is one of the most important communication hubs of both countries resulting in a high percentage of bilingual prospects that inhabit the region; prospects who could potentially open the doors for your company to make the jump from national to international enterprise.

7. Suitable venues for conventions, congresses, and expos.

There are more than 20 convention centers between both cities which total around 100 thousand square miles dedicated to conventions, exhibitions, exhibitions, fairs, and congresses. Both sides of the border have avant-garde facilities ready to receive up to 5,000 or more visitors.
